Qualified Mold Treatment Services completed by Pure Maintenance of North Carolina, Inc. d/b/a NoMoldWNC are guaranteed for a period of two (2) years from completion of work when the entire premises is treated.

The warranty is fully transferable during the warranty period in the case of verified real estate transactions, inheritance, and generational gifting of the treated premises. The warranty period shall commence on the date of original treatment, which is listed on the applicable treatment invoice, and shall continue until the same month and day of the following 2 years.

If at any time during the warranty period, mold is found in the area of service at a greater density than that of local outside air, NoMoldWNC will re-treat the home. During the first year this will be done at no charge to the Customer. During the second year, re-treatment will be prorated to 50% of NoMoldWNC’s then current rates.

This warranty will become void if:

a. subsequent additional water intrusion is introduced to premises, including but not limited to ground water, plumbing or appliance leak, roof leak, or HVAC system malfunction, whether due to water intrusion issues existing before original treatment or to ones subsequently occurring.

b. Customer or other occupants of the premises fail to consistently maintain humidity levels at or below 60% relative humidity for any period of time exceeding 2 weeks.

c. Customer or a 3rd party makes or attempts mold remediation treatment without prior written consent of NoMoldWNC.

NOTE: Emergency measures to stop ongoing water intrusion, such as repairing roof or plumbing leaks and removing water from them, will not void the NoMoldWNC warranty. The scope of remedies provided under this warranty is limited to re-treatment of the buildings originally treated by Pure Maintenance of North Carolina, Inc. on the above treatment date by the same or similar methods as the original treatment provided. Any additional treatment services provided shall be charged at the then prevailing rates of Pure Maintenance of North Carolina, Inc.

To make a warranty claim: Document Ref: BKEJF-QE3NF-6FLP2-DHETB Page 13 of 14 Customer (or their successor property CUSTOMER) must contact NoMoldWNC within 10 days of discovering the presence of mold recurrence, either by telephone, email, or regular US Mail. NoMoldWNC will then schedule a free inspection to determine whether there has been a recurrence of mold.

If air or surface samples must be taken and submitted for laboratory analysis, Customer will pay NoMoldWNC its current fees for testing services at the time of a secondary inspection. NoMoldWNC is not liable for any certification, inspection, or guarantee by any third-party.

NoMoldWNC may, but is not obliged to accept warranty period mold testing from other licensed, certified mold inspection companies. In case of a warranty claim, NoMoldWNC reserves the right to conduct its own testing, which will determine whether a warranty covered service will be performed.

No incidental or consequential damages or losses are covered by this warranty, including but not limited to personal injuries, illnesses, loss of use of the property or income derived from it, or damage to the property of any kind whatsoever arising from any recurrence of mold contamination. The above named purchaser and any successor beneficiary of this warranty hereby release, hold harmless, and shall forever defend pure maintenance of north carolina, inc. against any such claims for damages by any person allowed by them to enter, use, or occupy the treated property.
